P/graphene_os_installation_from_nix

Installing grapheneOS was slightly easier than I expected. I followed the CLI installation:

The version I installed was 2023112900

NixOS is not explicitly supported, but I tried it anyway. The two packages I needed to install were:

android-tools
android-udev-rules

The main issue I had is that the channel I had in my system was too old. I was on 22.11. android-tools was on 33.x, however graphene os required 34.0.4.

This is were the installation got a bit complicated, as I ran out of space disk when I tried to upgrade the system, and asus e410m internal storage is notoriously slow.
