Back to linkedin...
I rejoined linked in, and I wrote a post about it in the platform:

I am coming back to this platform, linkedin. After a generous onboarding of disabling advertisement based on inferred data, and using that data to training models. I am ready to be here.
Some of you might be thinking that this is a shameless move, a gotcha moment. Yes it is! The thing is: looking for a job is being difficult at the moment, and I cannot afford long term not to maximise my chances. Compromises they say.
For those of you that want to truly connect, the door is open where is open. Check my website! I still check my email and my open social media.
But for those of you that like corporate walled gardens where people project themselves and generated content attempts to hijack your attention, I am here for you too ❤️. Ready to join the moloch choir, with my best sinergistic tone, one 🚀 emoji 💨 at 👶 a 🎯 time 💪
Unfortunately they restricted my account after that, now requiring to go through persona (a U.S. surveillance company) or signing a Affidavit of identity
Didn’t they mention the GDPR option? No, they did not.

So I believe I didn’t rejoin linkedin, or perhaps linkedin is trying to tell me that they don’t want me in there. More moloch?
GDPR doesn’t work either
So I cannot open a ticket to send my affidavit of identity, as it redirects to
https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a1342692
Neither I can exercise my GDPR right to be forgotten as I get redirected to the same page.
And contacting the Data Protection officer redirects to the same page too!
So according to linkedin the only way to honour my rights is to agree to persona’s terms of use https://withpersona.com/legal/terms-of-use
So next step is to email their DPO instead of following their broken instructions.

Wasn’t the picture appropriate?
